Dumb but also dangerous. I know someone who refused prenatal care and then attempted an at home birth unassisted bc it was her 4th and she assumed she knew what she was doing. She almost gave birth in the car as her partner rushed her to the ER and was offended by the lectures from nurses.

I was going to make the same comparison.

I think the answer is read the fine print bc just like people insurance there are lots of exclusions. Like it doesn’t typically cover routine check ups and vaccines.

Also, this is why I don’t look at Tik Tok. I have neither the psychic nor emotional energy for people’s nonsense.

1) define cute? 2) my mom often used materials inherited from other teachers for her bulletin boards. I also put them together for her in exchange for lunch at McDonalds. 3) what? Who cares? None of my memories from kindergarten are about the decorations.

I am wondering if there is an identity crisis that comes with the second book if it is a completely different topic.

My grandma read my MA thesis out loud to her group of friends that all lives in the assisted living home together. The comment was “this wasn’t as boring as I thought it would be,” but I think they were having cookies and wine while she read.

We bought one before we moved and took it with us. Stores sell out this time of year.

I had a wonderful time at The WAWH Conference. And we even had time for a field trip.

It’s ok. We are sad but be’s been very sick. He had a lovely last hurrah last week where he acted like his younger self and then went downhill fast last weekend.

What!? I was glued to my email when I was on the job market.

We also got an email about our panel proposal and asking if we would like to present at the little Brooks, the AHA or on Zoom. We are going to reply the AHA, but I’ve rather lost faith in the organization.

I passed this on to the Graduate Center to see if any students are interested.

We bought a power washer and mulch and supplies for some deck improvements and then took a nap. It rained why we were sleeping. 😉

There is something about buying whatever you want at Trader Joe and then eating snacks for dinner that makes adulthood worth it.

My students are so fixated on grades that they are terrified if they get Bs they won’t have options for graduate school or jobs. They measure success entirely on GPA instead of learning. So, they aren’t embarrassed at all…

Ha. A decent salary would be awesome. And I will take some prestige as well.
