It shows an ICE agent ram his own vehicle into hers, sneer “Do something, bitch,” and then shoot her.

We can never believe anything ICE accuses anyone of.

When the administration's plan A is start a civil war you know they think they are losing.

This won't be hyperbole unless the Supreme Court reverses its current course.

And that in turn comes from the top.

I the crim defense office I worked in we used to say that cops and criminals thought about things the same way in the way they excused their transgressions. I think the difference is that the Ice guys see no need to make their lies believable.

FWIW, my folks were in occupied Europe in the 40s. My mom warned me not to be too complacent about this country even as they joined protests here in the 1960s.

We are now getting very close to him committing Treason. Saying that you are going to end rule of law in America if a judge does not rule your way is a threat against the U.S. as serious as any foreign incursion—and indeed would be considerably more ruinous to the nation he swore an oath to protect.

To be absolutely clear: if ICE or DHS says something happened, it almost certainly didn't happen.

And even if it did, at this point, the burden is on them to produce evidence. Anybody who gives them even the least benefit of the doubt hasn't been paying attention.

There’s just not enough attention being paid to how unqualified, psychologically unfit, and dangerous so many of these new ICE hires potentially are.

If we had a Congress, there’d be investigations & oversight into this.

this is a very very big story because of the apparently totally fake story ICE/DHS put out about what happened.

It’s important to flood social media and news channels with news about how ICE lies, so that potential jurors see it.

It seems clear—I think to everyone, now—that a false and illegal invocation of the Insurrection Act is coming before the end of the year. Media outlets should be telling us how they will prepare for this potential Treason. State governments should be telling us. Activists should be developing plans.

The new Supreme Court term starts today, meaning that -- in a novel twist -- the justices will hear oral arguments in some cases before they issue rulings that actually explain what they are doing.

In its statement addressing the raid, DHS noted it was still gathering information about those arrested “due to the size” of the operation and will provide more information. “Federal law enforcement officers will not stand by and allow criminal activity flourish in our American neighborhoods,” DHS said.

DHS describes detaining people w/o knowing who they are and then, unironically, claims they won't stand by and watch [or commit] crime.
