I keep seeing news stories saying one measles patient can infect as many as 18 people. This is a misunderstanding of the R0 value. 18 is the *average* number of secondary cases infected by a person w/ measles, not the maximum. A single super-spreader can infect far more than 18 people.

I've just assigned DOIs to 3399 articles in the Journal of Conchology from 1874 to 2005. Assigning DOIs is easy, but the gathering & checking of historic article data takes time (even with AI). All these articles are now discoverable & easily citable: e.g doi.org/10.5962/p.39... #RetroPIDs #BHLib

So anyway, I had this idea that everyone, particularly young people, should learn what is taught in law school.

I also had the idea that the way it is taught to young people is boring.

It wasn't until law school that I realized how interesting this stuff is.
