With many Hospices already under immense pressure, I wonder if they’ll find a way to get Gov to hear their cry for help.

Time to get your charity listed. Especially if it sells online.

Some noise cancelling headsets would do wonders.

Building a platform for charities is no joke.
Over the years, I felt like giving up so many times.
When a charity leader says “this a great solution” but want to see other charities using it first, it feels like a punch in the gut.
But we’re seeing a lot more interest now 🤞🏾

To delete close to 70% of what you paid the acquire it 🤷🏾‍♂️

I think many in the charity world are making the mistake of not building proper relationships with this segment of donors.
Maybe it’s because the return on investment isn’t as obvious as it is for other donor segments.
But just because they can’t give big now doesn’t can’t give at all.

Next week I’m meeting a group of #northumbriauniversity students to talk all things marketing strategy, Ideal Customer Profile and reach.
I’ve spoken with students about #purpose #circularity & supporting charities.
And I’ve learnt so much from these conversations.

And no X-rated people suddenly following left right and center 😂
I feel like the other platform will be reduced to a truth Social size of users at some point.

I’ve been taking Nucha App in a more focused and surgical approach to circularity and giving back.
On Monday they held our first listing party.
We didn’t have plenty of students rushing in.
However, the success came in the form of the quality of conversations held.

Younger generations, although they are the most connected (online), are going through a loneliness epidemic.
If your charity only wants them to just “Give”, they see helping your cause as a chore.
They value connection.

I suppose the numbers are even more depressing when it comes to the North East 😞

And so starts my favourite time of the year ❄️🌨️🔥

What a week !
We had our first true social event at @getnucha.bsky.social.
We took them to a teahouse ☕️
No alcohol.
No shouting.
A few ideal users showed up and we had a laugh.
That it.
That was the purpose of the event : to meet students and young charity supporters where they are.

Since I’ve started @getnucha.bsky.social I’ve spoken with a few tech founders who tried to bring innovative solutions to the #charity sector.
And the first thing they told me is that the sector is quite tech averse & very reluctant to try new things 😞

How do we overcome this challenge?

It’s reassuring at least to not see so many polarised views.
