Hark! Whatβs that we see on the horizon?
Is it something new? Something mostly metallic, quite heavy, and essential to society? Itβs an all-new collaboration with IMA!
Ore Cup: www.mineralcup.org/about-ore-cup
Voting starts Monday November 3. Winner crowned IMA Ore Mineral of the Year
I'm very excited to contribute to this program.
Science meets economics, Indigenous relations, public policy and communication to train new talents who work on solutions for the energy transition. So much needed!

The EDIG logo. The EDIG Logo is a blue and green (representing land masses and the ocean) globe, with a grey banner wrapping around its centre. Within the grey banner are the letters 'E. D. I. G'. There are three blue hands holding up the globe.

After more than 2 years away from social media, we are excited to reconnect and engage with the community. Life changes, new jobs, and moves around the world have kept us quiet - but behind the scenes, we have been planning and building. Now we are ready to relaunch EDIG!

Poster promoting an event. At the half top, there is a photo of a man posing in front of a large image of Mars. His arms are crossed, and he is smiling. In the top right corner, there is the Tap Talks logo. On the bottom half of the At the half bottom, the information about the event. The text reads: Topic on tap: Want to live on Mars? Iβll collect more interesting facts before casting my vote

05.09.2025 20:48 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I have a love/hate relationship with baryte. I did my undergrad thesis on Baryte deposits in NW Colombia, good memories.
But also, baryte is classified as a critical mineral in the USA because it is needed for drilling muds. Wrong reason to define criticality, if you ask me.
Same here. I only saw one rider (besides me) masking today. And Iβm counting my entire round-trip commute!
