I just watched a randomizer with most all the 2D Zelda games thrown together. Eight Zelda games and a Tingle puzzle. It was pretty sick.

I think that's great. He tried multiple games in a genre he clearly doesn't like. Good on em, I say.

I don't recommend playing them but just know that the original PS2 games (commonly called .hack//IMOQ) tied into this series quite well.
You'd meet characters from the show occasionally and read about the aftermath on the Internet.

.hack IMOQ (the first 4 games) were rough then. I put that game down several times because if you died in a dungeon, you basically had to redo the whole thing because you couldn't save mid dungeon.
But yeah, I would have told you to stay away.

Overheard a coworker at lunch starting to recite the Destiny raids. "First was Vault of Glass. Then Crota..." Keep that spirit alive. Even the dwindling numbers and perhaps ending in sight, will never take away all the years of fun and comradery I experienced.

Two things about the .hack news.
One, I'm glad that this is getting made at all as Bandaid Namco does not want to publish it but is allowing CyberConnect2 to use the license (it's Bandai's IP but CC2 created it)
And two, it's getting ppl interested in the series again. Loving this.
