I still love GFL2 and will be playing both the original and 2 side by side to get the full picture of the story and setting.

I thought I wouldn't like GFL1 because of how old school it is but so far it is pretty enjoyable. It's heavier on the resource management and visual novel aspects than 2 and the combat missions feel like a board game to me, which I like. Also less of a time investment than GFL2
