Knowing you, I was confused and thought this was code for something macro related for a moment.

I don't think I've properly shown off one of my sci-fi characters. So behold, Ova, a powerful AI who makes various bodies that she pilots to study and adapt. No she's not evil, if anything she's painfully neutral to everything. Though protects the scientists who made her.

I don't intend on ranting on my views of the world too often, after all, this is a place for boobs and butts and various other things.

Dude I remember when the Wii was first released and grew up playing the PS2, I'm older than fucking Netflix and Hulu, I remember when the first iPhone came out, I remember CRT monitors and Win7, hell, WinXP.

I'm an adult.

Adults deserve their own spaces, and those that scream 'think of the children' are using it as a convenient excuse for mass surveillance. Think of the kids? Ok, hold the parents who do nothing accountable. Their children are not my concern.

And if they get mad about it, well maybe they should look inward and wonder why they blindly followed someone without proper evidence.

Always remember that you control no one but yourself. You do not force someone to block another, you do not force someone to send hateful things, that is them and them alone. If you make a mistake that they blindly follow without waiting for more evidence, that's on them.

The veil of anonymity the internet has given has made people more bold to say things they wouldn't say to a person face to face. Remember that. In the words of @srgreja.bsky.social , 'Go outside'.

Be better. We're human, not a single one of us has gone our lives without mistakes. When someone shows remorse, don't double down. When someone learns from mistakes, don't brow-beat them.

We call out people, hold them to higher standards, and dog pile until they can't get up again. Why don't we ever just let people learn? A little constructive criticism without the hate or threats, challenging views without devolving into screaming matches?

And who are we to judge others? We act as though we make no mistakes ourselves when, in reality, we make them plenty. Who reacted to something brashly in the moment without a cool head and waiting for all the facts? I assure you even the most level headed person did at some point.

Just because some person makes a reactionary statement on your mistake doesn't mean you're a bad person, it doesn't mean you're less deserving of forgiveness so long as you learn from your mistakes and become a better person.

People make mistakes. It happens, and the downside of the internet is that everyone puts each other on pedestals and refuse to acknowledge that we are all, in fact, human. We make mistakes, we fail, we fall, we get up, we try again. We learn and we grow, that's how we survived so long.

True, though there's a difference between being called out and receiving criticism versus hateful remarks, insults, threats, that sort of thing. You took accountability, you showed remorse, people can be upset without taking it too far. Two wrongs don't make a right and all that.

The internet often wants perfection, and when a mistake is made they don't really let go of it, so don't let the hate comments get to you either. People are going to over react and want the nuclear option, it's reactionary. Just know you took accountability and did the right thing.

All anyone can ask is that, you apologized and made an effort to rectify the mistake. You've done more than most would. It's understandable to be paranoid in this day and age with AI slop around every corner, so it's an honest mistake.

You aren't a failure because you're injured, it's not a 'booboo'. You hurt your back, if you strain it more you'll only cause more if not worse damage. Be kinder to yourself.

Like hell, Burnout 3 is a fantastic looking game, incredibly fun, and that's locked at 30fps, the game-play feels like I'm fast as hell but have just enough control. Modern racing games never match that same feeling of speed. But that's just racing, I could go on about other genres.

I grew up with 480p and LIKED IT, jokes aside I feel you on the poor background and admittedly it's skewed many of my gaming takes. Like playing just a PS2 for so long made me appreciate timeless style and the black magic that would go into making those games.

Sometimes I see a visual difference but beyond that, eh. I also don't often play multiplayer games anymore and the ones I do are like, TF2.

Unless a game requires 60fps to function without weird things happening, I tend to cap my games at 30. Even if a game needs 60, I cap it at 60. Honestly never saw the appeal or benefit of hundreds upon hundreds of frames, probably because I grew up playing games capped at 30.
