“What’d I tell ya, huh? Solo job. You thought it was New York? Please. This kid, Ivy League, manifesto—he ain’t exactly the type they’d hire for a thing like this. Guy probably snapped after his co-pay doubled. The system, Chrissy. It makes people lose it.”

And multiple live activities for different games! Worth the install for these features alone.

Why, Despite the Numbers, Bluesky Feels Bigger than Threads
Threads has significantly more active users than Bluesky, but feels a lot smaller. Why?
Threads, in terms of daily active users, is significantly larger than Bluesky. But Bluesky feels bigger, and Threads feels quite small. I have some ideas on why that is. www.aaronrosspowell.com/p/why-despit...

This is really cool! I'm a big fan of the open platform approach, it reminds me of old Twitter. At the same time, that tool specifically feels like a simple table-stakes feature that should already be in Bluesky; It's basically a 'Follow Suggestions' module/list or am I missing something?

With so many apps exploding in the runner/cyclist/triathlete space (think Runna, TrainingPeaks, etc) it’s surprising how little Strava is doing to stay competitive. Feels like a big missed revenue opportunity.

I love #Strava and want to support the great product and community they’ve built, but $80-$140/year for “Premium” features I rarely use has become hard to justify.

Are we giving this another try? What’s good about this app vs Mastodon or Threads?

Personal hot take: this is *amazing* news for Meta – it validates there’s a mainstream market for tech they’ve been investing years/billions on, and positions them as the main competitor. It’s Android vs iOS all over gain, in a market that’s about to explode.

I was expecting something better from the Apple headset (hero apps, no cable, lower price) BUT overall I’m *really* excited to see AR/VR finally flourish and go mainstream 🙌

I haven’t been this excited about a #WWDC in years, I hope it lives up to the hype. I can’t wait for the AR/VR ecosystem to flourish further.
