This is corporate socialism at its worst. Privatized profits socialized costs and human carnage. NFL socialism for the rich capitalism for everyone else including the players whose brains we autopsy to confirm what we already knew was happening.

Just remember this when they scream about values.

The math is sickening. Owners worth billions get free stadiums from broke cities. Players making millions still destroy their brains for our entertainment. The public pays for everything while billionaires profit from literally watching people damage their minds.

Meanwhile players pay the real price. Boston University found CTE in 345 of 376 deceased NFL players studied. Thats 92% with degenerative brain disease. One third of living former players believe they already have CTE symptoms but cant get diagnosed until death.

27 of 30 NFL stadiums built with public money. Cowboys worth 11 billion got taxpayers to fund their palace. Bills just grabbed 850 million in public subsidies. Teams keep all profits while communities pay the construction bills for decades.

NFL generates 23+ billion yearly with 53% Black players yet paid zero corporate taxes until 2015. Players destroy their bodies for entertainment while billionaire owners collect taxpayer-funded stadiums worth billions. This is American sports welfare at its most grotesque.

Not by accident either

Nevermind these men who’ve played since middle school will end up with a devastating lifetime injury of their brains and body all for their entertainment. It’s actually sick.

I think what I find so appalling about Americans who lavish praise over a multinational corporation called the NFL, which is also a non-profit, pays so little in taxes, and the same billionaires are funded by tax payer $'s to pay for their stadiums, is that they needed a show to boost their egos.
