Happy News Did you know? As we move towards spring, weβre gaining around 3.5 minutes of daylight every day! Thatβs nearly 25 extra minutes of sunshine each week. Weβre getting there!
For some of us, dark mornings and evenings can make us feel really low. The cold, wet, and windy weather can also impact our mood βοΈ

Time to Talk Day is the nationβs biggest mental health conversation. Each year, it helps friends, families, and communities to have millions of conversations about mental health.
It can be hard to open up sometimes, but today: sit down, have a brew, and have a chat to a friend or a family member.

A handwritten note on an orange background reads "How are you?" followed by multiple responses, with some phrases crossed out. The responses range from expressing deep struggles and grief to more socially acceptable answers like "I'm alright!" and "I appreciate you checking in :)". The text conveys the difficulty of being honest about emotions while grieving. The Instagram handle "@glimpseofarainbow" is written at the bottom.
Sometimes when friends and family tell you theyβre doing alright, we might have to read between the lines to find out how theyβre really feeling.
Thanks so much to glimpseofarainbow for their fantastic illustration.

A great way to prioritise your wellbeing and mental health is by using a mood journal to record how you feel each day and why.
It is a useful tool to be able to understand patterns in how we feel, when, and why.
