So far the new ankle length coat has received many compliments.
I’ve managed to pretend that I’m a fancy lady and it’s a petticoat, so after about the fifth time I stopped tripping on it walking up steps.

My photo recreation doesn’t do it justice, but I forgot that the ankle length coat I ordered has a faux fur lined hood.
I saw the “fur” peak out from the package and thought: WTF, did they send me a wig?
Anyway, it fits! And it also has snaps over the zipper (that I’ll likely never use)!
There’s a pair of cormorants out with the mallard ducks at the lake today.
