tried registering same account months later — outright suspended immediately for "spam".

bluesky spam detection is great, keep it up.

if anyone messages you out of the blue how they "reported you by mistake because there is another account that looks like you" — it is a scammer, no matter what they ask of you. no exceptions. and the account that messages you was probably stolen the same way.
