Popped to one of my faves Syrena Irena for sour mushroom soup, pierogi, and fruit kompot. The Syrena (mermaid) is the symbol of Warsaw, so it always reminds me of my own grandmother Irena, who herself was a Warsaw icon in her day. Flawless, except that the English menu refers to 'Pierogies'
