I wandered into the allotments about a month ago and I really like it here.
I've learned that Colin feeds Janet and Amanda so I make sure he sees me and feeds me too.
He seems okay, so I might let him stroke me one day.

We all miss Barbs so much. He was such a kind boy and even though I was a bit naughty with him he was always nice to me.
We have so many happy memories of him.

I’m definitely in the ‘don’t eat’ category! 😀

I checked out the Big Greenhouse yesterday. There are only a few chilli plants in there now, but they will be gone soon.
Some humans love to eat chillies but many don't. Apparently they make humans' mouths burn when they eat them. I think that's really silly. Would you do it?

I've noticed that my right eyebrow seems to be growing back.
Can you see it?
There are only two hairs at the moment but I'm confident there will be more soon.
Betty says that some humans have massive eyebrows.

It's getting hot again here. I was lucky enough to find some shade near a fruit bush.
I think it's funny how some humans love the heat and others prefer cold weather.
I don't mind hot weather so long as I can find some shade.
Which do you like best, hot or cold?

Aren't my whiskers strange.

Some cats have lovely tidy ones but mine are all over the place.

I don't suppose it matters and I can't do anything about them.

Betty says they are perfect and I should stop over-thinking.

My Nip plant in the veranda is still doing well.

Betty told me that some cats are very rough with Nip plants but I'm not like that.

I'm happy to sit next to it and enjoy the lovely smell.

I'm a good girl, sometimes.

Why does water from the wrong place always seem better?
Colin gives me fresh water every day in the veranda but I couldn't resist trying this in the Big Greenhouose.
It's in a thing called a 'watering can'. It wasn't easy to get my mouth in so I gave up.

Colin usually gives me my breakfast near my shed but yesterday he put it in a different place.

I don't know why, but I enjoyed it so much more.

Maybe it's good to have a change?

I love to have a good scratch but I don't understand why Betty has to take a photo of me doing it.
Humans, especially ancient ones like her, have strange ideas don't they?
I suppose she's harmless, but just a bit weird.

I wish I'd been braver on Sunday. All those lovely Followers hoped to see me but I wasn't there. I don't know what's the matter with me.
Betty told me to stop worrying about it and said that we can't put the clocks back.
What's she on about? I haven't got a clock.

(Nick) Don't worry about it Amanda - as I know only too well, we can't be sociable all the time! As for putting the clocks back - well, we can... but only in October! 😸

(Amanda) I decided not to go to Followers Day. I think all the humans who went really enjoyed it, but I'm not used to being with so many humans at the same time.
Betty took a few photos. She will share some of Pip's photos too.
Pip worked really hard to make the day special.

Betty says she wishes she could sew but she is too ancient to learn now.

Betty and Colin's daughter-in-law works for a charity. It teaches humans how to sew. It is free for them.
B & C's son Al made this photo of me in front of a sewing machine.
The machine wasn't really there, Al made it look like it was. That's really clever, isn't it?

I think I've been over-doing the Nip but I don't care.

I don't nibble the leaves or rub myself on them, I just breathe in the lovely smell and it makes me feel relaxed.

I don't think it has the same effect on humans.
