It’s important to be reminded the Court strongly and clearly re-affirmed the Equality Act protects all trans people against discrimination, based on Gender Reassignment, and will continue to do so. Once we read and fully digest the judgement, we will work with stakeholders across all sectors to provide as much clarity as possible. I've been swept up in a reading frenzy for the past 5ish weeks which I love. But Labyrinth has near enough squashed my enthusiasm. It's just not for me! Got to find a palette cleanser. 💙📚

Right! What business does it have! (The synopsis is equally gorgeous. I cannot wait to read it.)

I don't normally buy hardbacks, let alone special editions. But look at this! It was the silver foil on white that won me over. 📚🪐💙

That and I can see the sprayed/gilt edges for once 😍 I hope your books are bringing you joy, however ordered or orderless they are!

Mine are currently stacked up on my desk and the floor because there was damp on the walls 😭 At least it gives me the opportunity to put them back in a thoughtful order.

Never mind. It's gorgeous and it's mine.

I'm going to be brave and buy the eBook of Water Moon instead of the Waterstones special edition hardback with foil endpapers and edges and the most stunning presentation box. 😭

It has so many Tumblr-worthy, highlightable quotes as well. It's about video games. But it's also about life. Honestly, if I'd had this growing up I might be a different person. Or at least would have had a super aesthetic blog.

Book post! It was actually my husband's order, but I couldn't resist this adorable little book.

That's beautiful! Books carry stories in so many ways than just one.

I love this approach. I actually love sitcoms for their ability to boil down a storytelling technique to its core!

How widely do you read? When I work on developmental editing with authors, I find it near impossible not to recommend books beyond the genre that they write. There is so much to learn from so many writers. Sticking to what you know feels limiting.

I'm trying to be more confident. I got the perfect change to practice. My neighbour complimented my knitting. I sincerely thanked her. The kneejerk "no really! I mean it!" she responded with was a double compliment on my confidence. Now to apply this to work! (PS I'm really fucking good at knitting)

My creative punctuation use in daily life is actually a Green Editing Initiative. In using your commas, parentheses and dashes willy-nilly, I am actually saving them from landfill.
