Subpoenas? You don't need no stinkin' subpoenas.
I confess. I freely admit that I'm an opponent of ICE.
As are most Americans.

Because in his mind, there is nothing that could ever justify shutting down the economy.

Did you know that Norovirus can be spread through the air? It occurs when infected people 🤮
There is a surge in noroviral infections in Ireland right now, so we've published this blog with tips on how to avoid #airborne transmission of Norovirus.

The concept of "toxic experts" is extremely useful for understanding the attack on science happening around the world.
They're most prominent in the US right now, but behind the scenes in Canada and elsewhere too, enabled by pseudoscientific systems that grant them excessive authority in medicine.
Third, in the case of COVID-19, Greenhalgh et al. (2021) demonstrate that the exclusion and dismissal of heterodox scientists in the UK led to flawed health policies that prioritized randomized clinical trials over evidence of airborne transmission from physicists and engineers. This highlights how orthodox experts can become toxic when they reject interdisciplinarity due to hubris and overconfidence (Maclean et al., 2021).

I wish someone would explain why it's "normal" to work on our health by exercising, dieting, managing stress thru "wellness" (from scents to yoga to supplements), etc., spending potentially $1000s and hundreds of hours each year--but wearing a $1 respirator to avoid a dangerous illness is "weird."

We’ve reached the MAGA/MAHA singularity in its full blown horror.
"I’m so annoyed that people seem to think the individual involvement absolves us from doing any kind of systemic analysis 🤡"
💯 this, and it's deliberate. Those the system empowers use the rare occasions when their peers get caught to distract from their use of that power to block any threat to it.
If only there was something public health could recommend that would be effective at stopping influenza transmission regardless of strain...
If it doesn't get inside you, it can't make you sick. It's amazing that they still have trouble understanding that concept.
