If you re into coding, have a look on #gstreamer. Straight from cam to twitch, without the overhead. Only a Linux with something like raspberry (720p) or an older entry nuc for 1080p.

I published the source for the Pi-based Unifi RTSP stream viewer on Github. It's using Rust to control a gstreamer pipeline that renders directly to the framebuffer at a pretty decent frame rate. Added some goodies like image views, camera titles and a real-time clock.

I finally got a Pi booting cleanly into a framebuffer-direct gstreamer setup which looks pretty slick while it boots. I even managed to write some Rust code to manage the gstreamer streams.

The camera display is almost done!
