I had a great time playing in the inaugural #TadpoleBowl even though my team whiffed the final week (fell from 25th). Big thanks to @ericfroton.bsky.social and @scottfish.bsky.social for adding fantasy college football to the Fish Bowl landscape.

That botched FG attempt by Koo was like if you pulled someone from the stands to try and kick and never did it before.

Hated that trade at the time. Peaks and valleys, but an extension would have probably worked out well for the Twins.

Amazing to think a year ago the Twins and Jays were in about the same spot. 2023 playoff teams coming off disappointing 2024 seasons and questions whether to blow up their core. Things diverged very much thereafter.

How did the Vikings allow a kick return at the end of that game? Lock it out of the end zone. I don’t get that. A big return was your main worry.

NU gets the turnover with about four minutes left. They line up in shotgun and throw the ball. I just don’t get that. Tough loss.

Isn't that usally PR to the player. ie. I don't think that player is that good, but post game I have to say we wanted to give him more work so he doesn't get irate.

It wouldn’t be that difficult to have each team have a bye week before a Thursday game. That’s what I don’t get.

That's definitely a factor. Or later round draft picks. That and maybe a team can't integrate a player mid-season. But why not get something for Breece Hall?

The salary cap and other factors make the NFL trade deadline the hardest to do deals among pro sports, but a big reason also seems that GMs just don't seem to have a mentality of getting anything for expiring assets like other sports.
