09.08.2025 21:01 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Oh, interesting. I wonder whether Notes' Markdown support will be improved generally.
I've been trying to create formatted notes with todo lists via Shortcuts, and it's peculiar at best!
We're launching a YouTube Channel for Step Into Vision soon-ish. Can we get to 100 subscribers before launch?

Really glad to hear that!
05.08.2025 16:04 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0It is INCREDIBLE that an artifact like this is known, preserved, and available to the public.
In a thousand years, I genuinely think this will be looked back upon as a very special relic representing a major turning point in human civilization. A physical bridge to us begining to simulate reality.
You're not alone!
I don't know if this is useful, but I've stopped being harsh on myself for taking a few days to complete a challenge, so long as I'm still putting an hour a day of work into the course somehow. It's all progress...
Just had an inspiring trip to Cambridge. Somehow the environment, my continued Swift UI learning and the tech pedigree of the place triggered a whole series of reflections on AR. I'd love to develop these into articles at some point.
05.08.2025 05:52 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I just finished Day 2^6 of the #100DaysOfSwiftUI at www.hackingwithswift.com/100/swiftui/64 via @twostraws.bsky.social - great to be learning about how to implement familiar features like image pickers, share sheets, and requesting reviews.
05.08.2025 05:49 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Brilliant... I went down a rabbit hole with a todo list app exercise. Wrangling with things I didn't quite understand, ultimately refactoring them into something relatively straightforward. Emerged a week or so later feeling a bit drained! None of that time was wasted though.
05.08.2025 05:47 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Day 60 of #100DaysofSwiftUI done, and Day 61 seems doable. After that UIKit reappears, so we can utilise APIs like MapKit and Core Image. This course really is covering a lot!
01.08.2025 06:17 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0You're really getting through these now!
29.07.2025 16:52 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Screenshot of Xcode comparing two versions of the same file. Revised sections are highlighted with a different colour in each version, and elegant gradients and bridges with radiused corners connect between the two.
Also, can't get enough of this comparison view. This functional aesthetic is right up my street.
28.07.2025 19:32 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Xcode... What an amazingly powerful tool. Turn any Mac into a developer's playground β for free. I expect it can be a temperamental behemoth at times, and it sure loves to tell me off as I type, but just wow.

24.07.2025 19:30 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Really looking forward to moving onto RealityKit after this course, but will resist shopping around for learning materials too much until I'm nearly done.
22.07.2025 06:26 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0After finishing the SwiftData section there will be two more big chapters to go. Feeling undaunted by these, but anticipating slowdowns for the coding challenges in between.
22.07.2025 06:23 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Really glad to be continuing to make progress. Following examples is generally feeling pretty natural, the brain is being trained, and each new concept feels exciting and relevant.

21.07.2025 07:17 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Word... I still want to return to closures once I'm done, to make sure it's properly clear!
What I would offer is that once the course moves into SwiftUI, closures are so common that usage becomes very familiar.
