After my 20-year-old Mr Squeak passed in April, I swore I'd be a 2 cat household on out.

But then in late May I was in central TX & found and adopted this adorable feral kitten [in Kerrville, at Schreiner University only a half mile downriver from the horrible flood the next month].

I heard a Canadian call it the American loony.

It's been violated twice that I know of! There was an FDR commemorative peso at the Manila mint in the mid 30s, and a Eunice Kennedy special olympics coin in the mid 90s.

The first wasn't noted for a long time because numismatics was very young in the US but the Kennedy one got immediately noticed.

So, I kinda despise tracking because that era in elementary school convinced me I was a dumb kid. But the "gifted" "talented" thing was my favorite part of all my public education, except for band.

I have mixed feelings, but it was a gifted program that really gave me a lot of confidence and set me up for college success.

In elementary school, I got put in the slow track because my cursive handwriting was so really bad and I held my pencil the wrong way.

I'm glad we can tell it's still not AI because that's back before carbon black started getting added to tires to make them last longer, and those are not hair styles AI is likely to produce.

It's gonna get harder in the future. I've lived too long.

Yeah! it has tours daily and they rent out the casitas for small-ish conferences and stuff. I go there for a small little stringed instrument workshop every year, about 25 people.

I didn't know what javelinas were the first time I saw a couple on a late night walk outside the Biosphere. I thought it was a small baby feral hog, and I froze thinking the mother might be around!

I go to the biosphere every October and I've seen all those except for a baby bobcat! We usually draw pictures of animals we've seen on the whiteboard.
