#TIL that I've been calling #ContemporaryFantasy books Urban Fantasies. I had no clue the genre existed. It's my own fault for not learning ALL the #Fantasy Genres. Now I'm rethinking how indescribe My Brother's Inheritance. At least there's time before I enter the query trenches.

The first 11 chapters of My Brother's Inheritance are feeling pretty good for this draft. But, 12 is where things start to get muddled and need a lot more work... characters to expand on, parts of scenes to cut, and stake sto become clearer. It'll be fun. Right?

In at 84% now (yes, I'll keep working on it today), but the amount of sighing my characters do, you'd think they're all in a world of oberstimulated pugs. Also, I need a better word that contorted for faces, lol. This is the only project where I use that so often (I'm 90% sure of that).

But! I've read over half of Project UD aka My Brother's Inheritance (formerly My Brother's Keeper). My plan is to edit it and start Querying it no later than Octiber 1.

Is it an ambitious goal? Yes, but it's one I'm up for.
