me watching ep 5 of the summer i turned pretty, then immediately starting season 2 of wednesday today:

“why am i in my 30s invested in this teen show” i could be 73 and i will still happily get on my soapbox about why this is a fake love triangle, and how this is actually a story about young people navigating grief, and laurel park trying not to crash out after losing her wife !!!

a pro (or con depending on how you view it) of still coming down from the SDCC high is that i am juuuuuust delirious enough to work in “august sipped away like a bottle of wine” in an email to a colleague without thinking twice about it ✌🏽

so i got a freewrite and my 7 year old has already tasked me with transcribing her next book, “The Nap Snatcher.” her first book, “Monster in a Forest” was written on a sketchbook using glitter markers so i’d say she’s moving on up.
