It is definitely a huge win for small apps in India such as Namma Yatri. But this decision should be scrutinised further. If Uber thinks SaaS is the future model in ride-hailing space, why not implement it for taxis as well?

We argue these cities are critical sites for understanding urban geopolitics where concentrated entanglements of exclusions and (re)borderings become manifest as these cities experience new infrastructural investments.
