Just curious, how many voted for the orange thing knowing their healthcare is going to go way up, their SNAP benefits will be cut, those on Medicaid will need to jump thru hoops to get it and aware the price of everything going up. Not to mention all to line the billionaires’ pockets even more.

I'm not sure they knew. I think the GQP keeps them poor and dumb. Then they scare the crap out of them. If they listen to just Fox news, that's all they know and hear. They need to be educated so next time they won't vote against their own financial interests.

As Putin Threatens Europe, Failure of Trump Peace Plan Laid Bare Peace games from the Russian dictator, who can’t win but can’t afford to stop fighting.

Putin is simply playing for time, while Trump, Witkoff, and Kushner are interested in business deals. The war is virtually certain to continue into 2026. Any peace discussions in which Trump and Putin are major players are going to be a travesty and a distraction.

I’m sure Kushner is highly skilled at negotiating with top level officials, like President Putin. Uh… not. If he’s the best we can send we’re screwed. Aren’t the people who should be doing the negotiations pissed off that this amateur is sitting there in their place?

There is a plan for health insurance. The plan is to let the tax credits expire. The idiot has wanted to get rid of the ACA for years. This would help him getting rid of it. People who wouldn't have access to insurance would be collateral damage. He doesn't care about them.

I suppose it's no big deal if the guy, whoever they might be, falls asleep for everyone to see during a press conference and he's a republican. Imagine Biden or Obama falling asleep during a pressie. We'd still be hearing about it.
