Comms as a force for good. Working with orgs that value people, planet & profit equally. Rewriting the ‘rules’ of work. Proud B Corp.

No green spaces? No problem.
Even if you're not in the rolling countryside or a village green, blossom can be found anywhere. Urban blossom, with a dramatic backdrop of urban architecture, is perhaps the most striking of all.

NEW: The BBC tested four of the big AI models on news & current affairs.
More than half of the answers provided by ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini & Perplexity were judged to have “significant issues”.
Good news: I'm safe for a bit.
Bad news: What if the pressures on media biz cause some to rush ahead?
An illustration. At the top it says "Time to talk. Ways to ask 'Are you okay?' (without asking 'are you okay?')" Beneath are the words and illustrations. "Do you fancy a brew?" – two coffee cups. "Shall we go for a walk?" – a drawing of the sun. "Let's have a good natter." – a phone. "I'm in no rush." – an alarm clock. "Can I help you with anything?" – a washing line with baby clothes. "I was just thinking about you!" – bluey-white clouds. At the bottom it is tagged Murphys Sketches
Sometimes we worry about the mental health of friends and loved ones, but we don’t want to tell them we’re worried.
Thanks to Murphys Sketches for the beautiful illustration showing there are lots of ways to begin that conversation. And what better time to start than today, #TimeToTalkDay
What a treat they are!
29.01.2025 15:25 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Screenshot of a BBC Politics tweet shows Chancellor Rachel Reeves speaking at a podium during a live broadcast of her speech. The quote at the top reads, “We are reducing the environmental requirements placed on developers when they pay into a nature restoration fund… they can focus on getting things built and stop worrying about the bats and the newts,” as she addresses the audience. In the background, there are large screens displaying the live stream of the speech, with a banner at the bottom reading “Kickstarting Economic Growth.”
Stop worrying about bats and newts? No Rachel Reeves MP – start worrying about the future of our economy if we tear down the nature it depends on.
Nature isn’t a blocker; it’s the foundation of growth.

A small, fluffed-up Wren perches on a branch, its feathers sticking out in all directions as if caught off guard. Its tiny beak is slightly open, and its wide, alert eyes give the impression of someone who’s just realised it’s Monday with no warning. The warm golden light catches the ruffled edges of its feathers, adding to the look of mild surprise and unpreparedness. The blurred background of green foliage contrasts with the Wren’s frazzled appearance, making it the perfect embodiment of that Monday mood.
When Monday sneaks up with no warning...again.

The BBC has heard from hundreds of people angered by comments by the former boss of Asda that working from home is "not proper work".
Well yeah, because his arguments were piss poor. Wfh is selfish because people are doing less dry cleaning? Wtf.

#BBC #Panorama doing a hit job on WFH. All sorts of spurious arguments being floated. Definitely feel the reporter is biased towards business rather than the individual. Filling office space and protecting coffee/sandwich shops is NOT a good reason to be forced back into the office.
