I asked ChatGPT to make an image of the path of Hurricane Milton and to focus on Florida. This is the image that GPT hallucinated. I can't tell if I'm more fond of the state of Northern Florida or the name of the water south of the Gulf of Mexico Mexico.

It's been so long since the days of Pre-Russia LiveJournal that I feel like I've forgotten how to write/blog. A friend put a bee in my bonnet to try streaming; but I have no idea what to do with that. Hell, it took years to figure out an app and a podcast. I guess I'm just slow of ideas. :-/

I'm reaching a point where I'm tired of blending in and hiding among the masses. I want to be out and proud. I want to be the one demonstrating for people's rights. I want to make waves and help institute change.

So, I think I'm going to be slowly migrating my personal posts from FB to here. The audience is much smaller. But the vibe is so much better.

Today was a dive into the lower APIs to look at CIImage and CGImage. Some truly old "magic string" APIs. But a good grounding to understand filters.

What is this "Coding to the happy path" of which you speak. I'm Eastern European. I assume everything is going to fail. 115 lines of code, the happy path is the last 8 lines.

I love the Circle so much. It shows a community cohesion that seems to defy exclusion. This is what we need in these hard times.
