We need politicians with guts to demand that manufacturers use less plastic, not more, yet in the last few days alone I've seen a TV advert for Vicks Vapour Rub in a plastic dispenser.
There's no good reason not to use the glass jars they used to use.

Let’s also remember that the ECHR has protected British people from abuses of power by its own government.
We must protect the ECHR, not leave it
Why Conservatives and Reform UK LTD have policies that would make your electricity DEARER and why "drill baby drill" or new North Sea fossil fuels extraction are not only not going to help UK consumers, they'll actually waste money and time, delaying cheaper renewable electricity.

As Pandora found, sometimes that's the only thing we can count on.

She didn't even comment on, much less refute, the lie told by Penny Mordaunt to @bbclaurak when Mordaunt wrongly claimed that people had to be in a union to be allowed to teach.
That's never been the case.
When the Tories were last in office - according to international Human Rights Watch - UK was on course to make list of countries that abuse rather than protect human rights. Is it any wonder they want us to join Russia & Belarus as only European countries outside the ECHR

If Labour were 'big' enough to introduce #ProportionalRepresentation
then we'd avoid extremist governments.
Ditching #FPTP is essential.
They might be the same people who forgot this?

Today I've joined parliamentarians from across the political spectrum in calling on Kemi Badenoch to rethink her dangerous position on the climate and net zero - a position which puts Britain's economic strength, national security, and environmental leadership at risk.

I mean, how else is the world going to produce its first trillionaire? 🤔
Spoiler: this post may be ironic sarcasm. 🫤
We have been let down, not by schools or teachers, but by decades of unnecessary, ideologically-driven austerity.

ECB stopped paying interest on a portion of banks reserves.
The left has long urged Govt to stop this £20bn subsidy to banks, a consequence of QE.
What could govt do with £20bn?

And any politician advocating abolishing these is either incompetent or criminally irresponsible.
Putting short term party gain before the long term health and life chances of the people of this country, or any other, is so shockingly cynical it beggars belief.

Climate Change Act and net zero policy are only currently credible pathways to address climate change impacts in UK, and lead gloablly
More extreme heat days
Wetter winters and flooding
Rising seas and warmer waters
Less snow and frost

Regardless of party political preferences, the changing climate affects us all.
Denying or downplaying it won't change that fact one little bit.
Individuals denying the truth is one thing.
Delaying action as a party leader is either incompetent or criminally irresponsible.
