I did have my Clonehenge mug in my camera bag, but I had my hands full enough without trying to balance that on George The Tapir's head 😉

It really was unreal to be in there with them, stroking them, brushing them and scratching under their chins 😀

Today I got to spend some time up close with George and Tia, the Lowland Tapirs at Peak Wildlife Park.

What an experience! I was grinning from ear to ear throughout.

Feels wonderful to be involved in a small way (the photo) & supporting such a collection of wonderful musicians. I will be ordering a vinyl copy because it's kind of a dream come true to see my work on an LP sleeve. But more than anything, looking forward to hearing what everyone has contributed.

To quote 17th C antiquarian, John Aubrey, 'Avebury did as much excell Stoneheng, as a Cathedral does a Parish church'. And I completely agree. The wider landscape is also amazing to explore.

That looks great! Is that a vinyl cover, propped up at the back? If so I'll be placing an order so I can have my photo on the cover of an LP 😊

That rabbit hole is potentially such a deep one, which may be fine for those with deeper pockets to match. All I really want now is a better auto-drip brewer for when I can't be arsed to do it manually. But my old Russell Hobbs is just about 'passable' for now.

And I think I may have reached the limit to how far down the rabbit hole of coffee brewing I wish to descend. Good grinder (Baratza Encore), good pour over with the Hario Switch. I do love the flavour of espresso but have no desire to brew that at home - I generally prefer a long drink.

However, on the up side, delighted to have found my "sweet spot" grinder setting on my new grinder for these beans. And my 'experimenting' with combining pour over with immersion with the Switch has paid off.

Just brewed a V60 Switch of my fave Old Brown Java (from The Bean Shop, Perth) straight into a Thermos mug. However, after taking a couple of slurps, have had to remove the lid because I can't stand 'sippy lids'. Won't be doing that again unless I really *need* it to stay hot.
