Arenaria 'Victor Reiter'! Our first low pro alpine garden bloom! 🌸

The salvia is anise scented and the artemesia leaves are very fragrant. Hoping the mix of scent and texture will be enough to keep hungry deer and rabbits at bay. 🤞🏼🌱

The low pro alpine garden is coming along nicely. The terracotta pots were washed with lime, earthworm castings and milk paint then lightly coated in clear gloss to seal. I've just potted my latest haul from Dancing Oaks + Edelweiss + MidwestOrchidCo. Lots of funzy, hairy grey-green cushion mounds.

In case you didn't know what time it is it's ZIGGY IS HUNGRY time. He got all up in my face to remind me. 🤣🐾

Ziggy got a new doggy pool. We got to enjoy it for a few days before the rains kicked in.

Switched the phrags to semi-hydro after asking ST folks for help and am seeing new, healthy, happy roots! Glad I made the switch. 🌱
