I finally figured out that I was not going to DIY this project like 2019 me thought when I bought the tile. 🤪 Hiring skilled people is so worthwhile.
The monstrosity of tile strangeness is finally gone! Porcelain and stone was a bold choice.
#SweetJujube even got used to strangers in the house. 🐶

The portrait and the model… what a guy, Humphries!
He would visit the gallery on occasion, and I was thrilled when his family had him captured in a portrait. It was a fun one to paint.

I feel particularly honored to paint pets that have left this world behind. A shy guy, part wolf, all heart. Timber had the good fortune of befriending a true dog whisperer to live his final years with.
