Sorry to rant about mask wearing today but I'm so frustrated and scared for all of us that the only way to protect ourselves(and each other) is our individual choices. It's not enough, but we can still try to make better choices.

I know we can't personal responsibility our way out of the US gov destroying our vital health departments. But wearing a high-quality mask (N95, KN95, etc) in public spaces is still the easiest best way you can protect yourself and community. If you quit masking, now is a good time to start again!

I think this is a great way to fight back against genAI, if you’re doing an in-person show, put a little sign out! I’ve started adding a “human made” logo to my websites. Public sentiment has already shifted and now it’s to our advantage to advertise we still create our own art.

Lake County library leaders expect to see more challenged books A challenge is an attempt to remove or restrict materials, according to the American Library Association. Challenges lead to censorship.

Right-wing censors are now "quiet banning" books that they can't removed legally.

Librarians in Chicago have been finding books dealing with race, LGBTQ+ issues or Islam hidden under shelves, in trash cans or otherwise "disappeared."

My laptop has done an update, and now Word is forcing Copilot on me, and I am livid. I want it to go away. It's not *enabled*, but I have to see the icon hovering on the side of the page, begging to be used. The tips and tricks for removing Copilot aren't working. @microsoft.com, this is TRASH.
