This. Nothing against big cons. They're fun, and doing the best they can; but make your community where you can and when you can.

While I don't personally think VR will ever replace real interaction, it is such a tantalizing addition to the Conscape that I am excited about the future growth there.

In our case, I was referring more to snowpack and smoke from burning Canadian forests than to pollen; but yes in general we've found that a hose does the trick.

If they are really bad, we have a very long window washing rig we can use from the ground of our one-story that reaches 90% of them.

Our place has been solar for going on three years now, and we put in enough that it's only Dec-Mar that we pay anything at all (and that includes the Natural Gas bill since they are the same entity here).

If we move to a place with land, my plan is to go ground-mounted next time. Easier to clean.

Our county library system is creating furries as fast as it can, but can’t keep up with the demand.

A great many things are considered "lesser" until suddenly there is significant money to be made in them, then it becomes "the new hotness".

The good thing for niche fiction is that a genre audience is more easily accessible than the much larger mainstream culture audience.

Walked the dogs through the prairie this morning and found five four-leafed clovers. I wasn't even looking particularly hard for them.

I don't think they use any chemicals on this section of the park, so it was probably a late spring frost that caused so many all at once. (We had several of those.)

If you are chasing a long term project: a very small amount of consistent, focused, daily effort over a long period will always beat random bursts of inspiration and extreme effort over very short periods. Over the next couple of months we will convert as much of the backlist for POD printing as we have license and money to do so. (Starting with Heat 2 ->)

Our primary focus going forward will be on community, education and advocacy through Sofawolf Academy.

New Sofawolf website has dropped! We are completing the pivot away from direct distribution and now have a static catalog site.

Over the next few days, we will continue to add links to distributor pages where you can order products that are currently available (in stock or converted to POD).
