A graph of low carbon sources over the last 20 years. Nuclear 9% (down from 17 in 2000) hydro 14% (very consistent) solar 7 and wind 8 (up from basically zero)

Renewables were 92% of new power added in 2024. Low carbon sources now accounts for 41% of worldwide electricity.

Though, I can’t help but look at this graph and think about how much better it would look if we weren’t retiring nuclear plants so much faster than we’re building them.

Pete Hegseth is clearly ill-equipped to handle the role of Secretary of Defense. His repeated failure to follow basic operational security procedures jeopardizes the safety and security of our armed forces. He should resign.

Trump's White House Easter Egg Roll is brought to you by Big Tech The White House partnered with Meta, Amazon, YouTube, and other companies for this year's Easter Egg Roll.

Trump gets a fancier party.

Big tech companies get tax breaks and the green light to cheat consumers.

Working people get screwed.

First, they said they’ll send undocumented immigrants with no due process to a foreign prison camp.

Next, they said any immigrant β€” documented or not.

Now, they say it’s citizens. And that once they send you even on accident, they can’t bring you back.

The '3.5% rule': How a small minority can change the world Nonviolent protests are twice as likely to succeed as armed conflicts – and those engaging a threshold of 3.5% of the population have never failed to bring about change.

Let’s shoot for 3.5%

Tonight an unbelievable **34,000 people** gathered for our Denver rally to take on billionaires and win our country back.

This was the largest political gathering in Denver since Obama in 2008.

Also bigger than the 2024 DNC.

And the largest ever rally in Bernie’s career (and obviously, mine too).

Watch this: the Federal Trade Commission was holding Amazon, Meta, and Tesla accountable.

Then:
- Amazon paid $40M for Melania's documentary
- Meta gave Trump $25M
- Musk gave Trump hundreds of millions

Now Trump is trying to illegally fire FTC commissioners.

Corruption.

GOP bill could ban hairdressers from giving gender-nonconforming haircuts to minors - LGBTQ Nation The bill would allow anyone to sue someone who affirms a young person's transition, and it specifically mentions hairstyles.

We reported on this a few days ago, but I want to point out this headline because this is where we are at.

A bill in Arkansas would ban gender affirming HAIRCUTS for transgender youth.

HAIRCUTS.

This is a straight up North Korea state sanctioned hairstyle proposed law for youth.

What he said about Social Security payments has been repeatedly debunked - so the question isn’t whether he’s lying about this, the question is why.

What is this a pretext for? He and the GOP have long shown interest in going after Social Security. What are they going to try?

Yes, this administration is dangerous and cruel, but they are also shockingly dim and incompetent.

Opportunities are everywhere.

Make everything as hard as possible. Resist every demand. Refuse entry without a warrant. Don’t take the buyout. Their problem solving skills are πŸ“‰
