On closer inspection, there is already a “lime berry” fruiting!

This is an exciting #BangkokGarden development. Exactly 18 months to the day after sprouting a single seed acquired from a single fruit from an experimental farm in Bang Mot, my wild desert lime has flowered. I’m looking forward to tasting the grape-sized limes.

I was fortunate to enjoy the inaugural Shanghai F1 race in 2004, with Pit
Lane access. That was a great race. Alonso’s car caught fire after winning.

I don’t know how I missed this exceptional film. I must have been running a nightclub in 2013. ‘The Best Offer’ is a great movie in all aspects.

Today, as we explored the mangroves of Trang, we learned the locals eat young mangrove tree leaves, usually as a condiment. However, Khun Prawes had the creative idea of serving them as tempura to pair with their whitefish sashimi, served more like a Ceviche. First time, now added to his 80/20 menu.

Today’s adventure in Trang was so incredible, I’m not posting details in the hopes of preserving it.

Warming waters and the planting of the wrong species of seagrass is taking a toll on the dugong herds.

Down to about 200 now. Moving north to Krabi at the moment, looking for seagrass.
