🧡How *moral* are the moral foundations?

We asked this question in my (now published!) first, first-author paper: "Values in Context: The (Dis)connections Between Moral Foundations and Moral Conviction" in PSPB!

Great work led by Paul Plonski (@paulplonski.bsky.social). We’ve been thinking about how emotion and emotion-regulatory responses to climate change information might relate to beliefs about and support for climate change solutions.

To correlogram, try ggstatsplot package for #rstats. Great customizable options and returns a #ggplot object.

We used an ESG with climate change situations: positive X negative emotions. In addition to those stimuli-level responses, we have individual level discrete emotions about climate change. Not exactly affect grid and single-dimension valence/arousal but happy to share

Paul Plonski @paulplonski.bsky.social is now on Bluesky. He studies emotion and emotion-regulatory responses to climate change information. He’s on the market for a job (PhD expected in 2024)!
