That's not at all what I'm saying. I'm saying Arcsystems doesn't have me in mind. That's fine. That's their priority.

I can learn things. I'm capable of understanding this. But at first glance I had no idea wtf I was looking at and that says something about who Arcsystems cares about.

This hasn't fully scared me off. I'm going to play the beta. But it's tempered my already very low expectations.

I get that they've decided that in a beta they want to speak to hardcore fighting game players. But that choice still implies that the final game will be designed with those players in mind.

I'm curious what the point of having an IP-driven fighting game is if you're not serving IP-only fans at all

I'm generally of the opinion that it's ok to be disappointed no matter the era

It's why I'm bummed we didn't get any of the continuations. They could have been much gayer.

I watched the whole thing and enjoyed it but it was far less gay than I'd been led to believe and made me extremely uncomfortable with its fatphobia. Definitely doing its best to be gay af but I was tired of the metaphor and wanted something explicit.

This feels so goofy, but I implemented a grid layout in the simple cards v2 Godot library. I didn't build this balatro example. That's from the original dev. I just made the cards able to be lined up in a grid layout.
