I'm a retired Army logistics planner that wrote the logistics plan for Western Iraq that became Army policy.

Here's what I think is happening by looking at the logistics of ICE:

A nation wide network of enslavement camps, offices and warehouse enslavement factories are being put together under ICE. Contractors are the same ones that operate southern prison factories.

Warehouses are also perfect for setting up water cremations. 90% less energy, no smoke stacks and easily set up in a warehouse. Sodium hydroxide is cheap and readily available. Just need water and sewer connections.

We need to track sodium hydroxide purchases, test downstream water, and track water cremation equipment purchases.

I want to share my story - because it informs everything I do as your AG.

My path to public service was far from traditional. My mom died in a car accident when I was 8 months old, visiting my father, who was incarcerated. My brothers and I grew up poor in public housing, sometimes in foster care.

Black-and-white portrait of Dr. Jane C. Wright (1919–2013), pioneering Black surgeon, oncologist, and "mother of chemotherapy," seated at a laboratory workbench in a clinical research setting. She wears a white lab coat over a dark top and gazes directly at the camera with a composed, focused expression. In front of her is a large compound microscope with multiple objective lenses, adjustment knobs, and a stage, positioned prominently in the foreground. Her left hand rests near an open notebook or lab record book on the table, while stacks of papers or slides are visible nearby. The background shows softly blurred lab equipment and shelving, evoking a mid-20th-century medical research environment.

Large banner of Trump unfurled at Justice Department headquarters The DOJ has traditionally operated with a degree of separation from the White House to prevent the department's powers from being abused for political purposes.

Trump has turned the Department of Justice into his own personal vendetta machine. And Pam Bondi has been happy to go along for the ride.

We're witnessing the most egregious politicization of the DOJ in recent memory β€” and I lived through the Nixon years. www.nbcnews.com/politics/jus...

JD Vance’s joke bombed massively at today’s Board of Peace meeting. Totally humiliating. But it also illustrates a larger point: There’s a reason MAGA can’t be funny. It’s because every single trait that defines a person with humorβ€”these are traits we value highlyβ€” is a trait they do not possess.

In the concentration camp universe, this is what's known as a filtration camp. A government preemptively takes a whole class of people to interrogate and detain extrajudicially in order to inflict duress on them while arbitrarily assessing their (supposed) culpability.

This is a truly horrifying memo. It says that the policy of the US government will now be to proactively seek out and arrest likely tens of thousands of refugees who entered legally under Biden and subject them to detention, where they will be interrogated about their status.

DHS axed its civil rights staffβ€”and opened the door to a major lawsuit The agency is now barely pretending to follow disability law. Its former civil rights head says that makes ICE vulnerable.

A recent Congressional letter accuses DHS of not being compliant with a major civil rights law due to the mistreatment of disabled ICE detainees. As I reported for @motherjones.com, this is worsened by the fact DHS' office for civil rights has TWO EMPLOYEES now.

Thanks to a crucial Supreme Court decision on its shadow docket that authorized immigration officers to racially profile people they thought might be undocumented, Operation Metro Surge saw officers target anyone β€” citizen or not β€” who wasn’t white for questioning, detention or, in many cases, brutal treatment. ICE began going door-to-door in predominantly minority neighborhoods to ask where residents were born, sometimes dragging them out of their homes at gunpoint. Officers indiscriminately fired pepper spray and tear gas at residents, including into the car of a family, hospitalizing a baby.

β€œWhat that did was have an incredibly chilling effect on how people move about our communities,” said Richard Carlbom, chairman of the Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party. β€œThere are U.S. citizens who are Black, brown or Asian who won’t leave their house and we have to deliver food to them on a weekly basis because they’re afraid of being detained.”

One of my biggest fears about the midterms is that ICE could flood the polls with agents who perform Kavanaugh Stops on every non-white person before they get a chance to cast a ballot, then detain them until voting is over. Which is not far-fetched at this point. www.huffpost.com/entry/ice-po...

β€œNot Ready for Prime Time.” A Federal Tool to Check Voter Citizenship Keeps Making Mistakes. The Department of Homeland Security pushed out the revamped tool while it was still adding data. That led to widespread misidentification, particularly for citizens born outside the U.S.

Missouri officials directed county election administrators to make voters temporarily unable to vote if they were flagged as potential noncitizens by a federal tool.

But in hundreds of cases, the tool's determinations were wrong.

Concerns over autocracy in the U.S. continue to grow Is America still a democracy? Scholars tell NPR that after the last year under President Trump, the country has slid closer to autocracy or may already be there.

"I would argue that the United States in 2025-26 has slid into a mild form of competitive authoritarianism," Levitsky said. "I think it's reversible, but this is authoritarianism."

Growing concern?! Every day since 2016 when they announced this was the plan. SMH
