So, no. Voting in American elections is NOT pointless. It DOES matter who’s in charge, and there are legitimate differences. Just because they’re not specifically what you want in the moment doesn’t make it insignificant.

It matters who’s in charge. I disagree with Democrats all the time. That’s the point of democracy, but less evil is still a better choice than restrictive distribution and direct targeting of civilians without pushback or consequences.

Guess who set up the private partnership program that Isreal is using to distribute aid to today. The one with 4 distribution centers for all of Gaza where the point is scarcity and are deliberately being targeted by the IDF. Did Kamala Harris change that policy? Who enacted that?

Again, generally, Evangelical Protestants have a shaky at best relationship with Catholics. LDS is a whole other situation.

That’s to say, both of your statements are true, but evangelicals have a deep seeded distrust of Mormons. I have both groups in my own family, and the Mormons are mostly ostresized.

Faith and identity around religion are tough things to reconcile when one takes out another.
