Court upholds CMA’s £99m fine on pharma over excessive NHS thyroid drug prices The Court of Appeal has unanimously upheld the CMA’s finding that Advanz broke the law by overcharging the NHS for essential thyroid drug liothyronine.

We really welcome the court’s decision clearly signalling the pharma companies' behaviour was unacceptable & caused undue harm to patients and the NHS.
We hope this decision will pave the way for patients with a clinical need for liothyronine to be able to obtain it on the NHS
