Can societies filled with individualists ever work?
And are we doomed to be ruled by the tyranny of the mediocre among us?
This week's Philosophy Questions:
1. Can societies filled with individualists ever work?
2. Is the herd mentality a natural phenomenon that holds our societies together?
3. Are groups merely placid & mediocre, or also highly dangerous?
4. Can we ever grow as a group, or only as an individual?

Exactly. Voters didnβt trust the Dems to be reliably for those issues and believed the GOP is not worst on those. I think we are seeing people voting more on cultural aesthetics of the parties because theyβve realized that the parties donβt stand for much else.

Last year I bit the bullet & invested in a Steelcase Leap V2 for my home office. Spending that much money on a single chair seemed a little obscene but I can now report that it is worth every penny! I can work at my desk for hours without back or shoulder pain. Is this what getting old is like?
