Hard to believe the show ended 2 years ago. It feels like only a few months since Watching and Dreaming aired. Thank you for creating such a beautiful show @danaterrace.bsky.social (and the rest of the crew!) It contributed a lot to the person I am now and am lucky to have experienced when it aired.

Well it is a little slow from time to time but nothing offensively bad. Speaking from personal experience so I might have gotten lucky but I've found it perfectly fine for art stuff. Wouldn't describe as "sluggish" but maybe that's just because I'm used to it?

A lot of people seeing the image for the first time say 'AI'. I've pointed out that this shouldn't be assumed just because a photo looks odd. Needless to say, I get lots of angry pushback. Some people then (ironically) go to AI to 'test' if the image is AI, only to get erroneous confirmation... 3/n

You could check out Linus Tech Tips' tablet buying guide. They made an updated version a couple months ago or so.

That doesn't come with a stylus I'm afraid. If you get a Samsung, you should either get a Tab S6 lite (2024 version) or the newer Tab S10 lite. The one I use is the 2022 version of the S6 lite and it's great for drawing and not bad for general use either. Hope that helps.

It's free but it does have a one-time purchase for extra brushes and features for a dollar or two I think, haven't felt the need to pay for it though after 2 years

Personally I tried out Infinite painter and found it to be more difficult to use than Sketchbook, (Altho I am aware it may have improved since then). I've tried out a couple other apps like Medibang but I always return to Sketchbook.
