Next time please bring up the sad news that the Corporation for Public Broadcasting is shutting down due to Congress revoking the $1.1 billion in federal funding. This will cause many PBS stations to shut down as well.

Even Susan Collins kept her ground and voted against it.

I know I'm late to the party here but you look fabulous! I've been hiding lately and I miss talking to you and Rob. Hope you've had a wonderful vacation.

My question is, did some of them learn after all the deaths he caused during the pandemic? I read stories of drumpfsters who admitted they were wrong about him on their deathbeds. How many more people have to needlessly die?

Nixon didn't try to take over the government. His low self esteem made him do some nasty things, but he tried to cover up a theft that he didn't order. And after WWII, we just gave away all our industrial secrets to the world and I think that had more to do with our descent.

So true. The media could have used their clout a decade ago to warn us about the far right wingers that were fueled by the tea party which snowballed into MAGA. More people would have prevented many of these individuals from being elected to state and federal positions.

Today in US History: On Feb. 3, 1870, the 15th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution was ratified, granted black men the right to vote. It was passed by Congress on February 26, 1869. Black Americans were set free by the 13th amendment. The 14th Amendment guaranteed citizenship.
