isn't having so little sunlight kinda depressing?

Frankreich mรผsste 2,5 Meter pro Jahr absacken โ๐ณ

four nixie tubes showing minutes and seconds
Nixie tube clock works now.
I just need two more tubes...
Nixie tubes glowing in the dark
So far it's running great. I could finish the code, ordered a new revision of the pcb and need to wait for it...
Love the look already!
2. Got things mixed up with the nixie tube footprint: Thought that the pinout in a datasheet was top view but it was bottom... Well as it's THT I thought you could just switch the side of soldering.
Turns out: Works but now I can't show proper times as I don't control all of the cathodes AHHH
Transistors soldered properly to the pcb
Transistors soldered rotated to the pcb to get the wiring right
Some more issues with my nixie tube clock:
1. Messed up the connection between footprint and schematic symbol of the transistors switching the cathodes, had to get a little creative (see images, definitely IPC compliant xD)
Oscilloscope screen showing frequency of 3.2 MHz
Oscilloscope screen showing frequency of 420 kHz
So I've been building a HV generator for my nixie tube project but had a wrong resistor for the frequency programmig. The whole thing ran on 3.2MHz instead of 420k lol, suprisingly it still supplied the required voltage xD
Got the idle power down from 2W to a few mW
so I'm not sure which direction to read them, it's not very typical to have 5 rings in such order.
Colors are: Purple, Gold, Yellow, Black, Red.
Not sure with the yellow tho, may be brown or gold too. Do you have another angle maybe?
still need help with that?
