Someone else was talking about how they’re like SPSS. SPSS makes a lot of statistical tests widely available through its user interface but that is also its downside because people click buttons and report results without knowing what is happening behind the scenes.

AI is going to become the new DEI in the sense that it’s a structural challenge that will only be addressed with changing how power flows though institutions but HE is incapable of doing that so we’ll get a bunch of trainings that no one likes and do little to solve real problems.
