pulse is a very idiosyncratic blend of twitchy racing, and puzzle (finding the best route for the daily). you haven't played anything like it. and now you can!

it can feel a little light in terms of what it's offering you, because there's so little to *do* outside of dailies..i feel like this is a perennial problem with hardcore games in general; if axe ghost had a "play a custom seed mode" to challenge friends with, that might have been a welcone addition

if i were to live skeet these as i played them, last night I played Axe Ghost...!

this game got fuckin' teeth; it's very particular about what it wants from you and its focus on daily puzzles means that it wants to force you to engage with as deeply as possible rather than mindlessly retrying
