Yeah. I love one-and-done software, but it’s becoming harder and harder to find.

Husband and I are rewatching One Punch Man, and it’s one of the few anime series in which we don’t skip opening and closing credits, because not only the series is excellent (well, season 1 is), but it also has excellent opening and closing songs.

As people on that other app said, "if something's free, you're the product."
I think they're trying to get people who will use the AI features to pay for the free software, but what happens when it turns out to not be enough?
"Free forever" promise doesn't mean "available forever."

Supposedly only for stuff uploaded to Canva. But I don't like the direction either way. Like you can work offline, but you do have to stay logged in to use the app.
I would have rather just paid upfront for V3 without all the BS and tacked on AI options.

I didn't play it either. I just saw a user report. It seems that to use the new app you have to create a Canva account (and link your old Affinity acc for addons if you have any), and they have some permissions opted in.

I'll try to do better next time.
I suppose that time when I almost cut the tip of my finger off with a knife that was lying on the counter at the time would make a better story? 🤣

As I said: hopefully some good stuff is coming your way to balance it out.

Bummer. While I love the idea of having all Affinity products in one app, I hate the idea that I would have to opt out of training AI or data sharing or what not in some obscure settings I wouldn't even discover if another user didn't mention them.

Nope. It's just yours truly, for the first time in 10 years of using it, didn't fully insert the coffee pot, resulting in some spillage. Yes, it was a relief. I really like that coffee maker. 2/2

We have a 10 year old coffee maker. It doesn't use pods or make fancy stuff, but I can make the coffee exactly how husband and I like, so I like it.

Honestly, it's kinda like your appendix, you don't use it as much as you'd think. Discard any candy that speaks in ancient languages. That just can't be good. Have fun! This world is a nightmare. Enjoy every chance for whimsy whenever you can.

I found some of the advice (especially the one about the candy) to be very useful ;), so I'm sharing it with you.

I've been working for the whole morning without interruptions and made nice progress on my tasks, but for some reason, I'm slightly grumpy (I blame the cold weather), so it's pancakes for lunch, because I said so.

This mummy is one of my more recent creations that started as, yes, you guessed it, testing the model I bought. But it didn't mean I couldn't put it in a dynamic pose (and posing that pendant was a challenge in and of itself) and have fun with post-work, right?

In the middle is a stag skull with painted antlers of a diamond and star pattern. Behind the skull are smaller 8 point stars and cloud ripples. Above the skull is a scraggly branch of queen Anne’s lace with small dots above. The vortex is pulling party’s of the building up towards it and cracking parts of the wood and foundation. The vortex is casting light and highlights on the building and the tress behind it. Converging towards the building is a circle of 12 white bird silhouettes.
