I saw a cute birdie today while i was in town. I wanna say its some type of robin or finch but idk. Whatever it is, I hope it's drinkin water, just like how i hope everyone else is drinking water today. If you havent had water, go drink some :D

Hiya, I'm thinking about starting a trend called Starfish Saturday, where I showcase starfish. Today's entry is my all-time favorite, the crown of thorns starfish! These funky lil guys eat coral polyps and *checks notes* are currently starting to outbreak on the great barrier reef apparently, oh no.

Bourbon Glazed Salmon - The Seasoned Mom Crisp on the outside and tender and buttery on the inside, bourbon glazed salmon is an easy dinner that's ready in less than 30 minutes!

This is the recipe I used if you want it! (I sadly didnt have bourbon so I used worcestershire, teriyaki sauce, and liquid smoke as a substitute. I also used dark brown sugar instead of light brown sugar, and i broiled it for 10 minutes instead just to be safe lol)

Remember, sometimes it's good to get out of your comfort zone (even if its just in small ways) and can be pretty rewarding at times.

For example, I tried cooking bourbon glazed salmon for the first time today despite my aversion to touching most raw meats and my reward was a tasty lunch and dinner.

Made ice cream, took it out of the freezer after like 6 hours, and it was mostly just vanilla milk slushie. Hopefully it'll be better tomorrow night!

We made a pumpkin flavored cheesecake today! It was reallyyyyyyy yummy. The crust is mostly graham cracker, with some biscoff cookies mixed in. Def recommend for a breakfast, even if its technically a dessert.
