Salah with no convincing involvement on the ball, except for two well-taken penalties. In my eyes, 🍀 penalty situations—not to be interpreted as referee mistakes, but rather how clumsy both situations were 🤕
What does that amount to? 15 points, ofc.

Palmer failed to convert his xGI last weekend and looked colder in recent GWs—expecting a turnaround is wishful. His xGI will likely stay high. Neither Salah nor Palmer is a bad captaincy option, but given my OR, chasing Palmer’s upside could be smart? #fpl

After a weak-fasting-Salah-show vs PSG, I’m wary of his output against Soto. Though there’s concern he might be rested, I expect him to chase records—Ramadan hasn’t visibly affected him in previous seasons, so it’s likely just overthinking? 🤔🤷‍♂️

Moving forward, I’ll have two FTs going into GW29. I should be able to field 11 players—though there are a few uncertainties with Dango and Pedro. Ideally, I’d find a way to get Haaland, but that would require a -4. I might just end up with the temu-version, Marmoush.

Looking at both GW28 and 29, no defenders really stand out in terms of clean-sheet potential. So, I decided to target the weakest opponent in GW29—Soto 😇. We’ve all had our experiences with Ait-Nouri before, and now we’re back at it again! This could turn out to be anything from heaven 🌟 to hell 👹.

Apart from Hall’s long-term absence, I remained unscathed during the FA Cup weekend. One of my plans for BGW29 was to bring in Cunha, so I’ll have to broaden my horizons when it comes to forwards. Replacing Hall isn’t easy, even though the plan was always to move him before GW29.

Right now, I’m leaning toward Cunha—he’s the kind of player who can return against anyone. And let’s be honest, at this point, I’m just looking for any excuse to make a move. 🦸

But Pedro and Gakpo have to go before BGW29, along with Hall and Trent. And with only two free transfers, the real question is: when do I bite the bullet? 🎱
Keeping Gakpo for GW28 against Southampton? Meh. Rotation risk is sky-high with PSG looming midweek. Feels like a trap. 🪤

Now I’m stuck with a classic #FPL headache: roll with a 4-5-1 or take a glorious -4 hit? The options? Shipping out Pedro/Gakpo for Cunha/Marmoush. None of them have a dream fixture, so taking a hit feels about as appealing as a cold shower in winter 🥶🥶🥶🚿

1. Stay put? A move will cost -4
2. Sideways move to Darwin? Extremely short-term solution!
3. Wissa?
4. Cunha?
5. Marmoush?
6. Wood?

If Gakpo is out, will this lead to the following scenario?
Jota not fit to start two matches in a short period, Darwin starting up front, and Diaz on the wing?
Ultimate one-gameweek punt on Darwin?
