Saw this a couple of days ago. Even if it's not Oscar material, it is still really well made. Tatum is in peak form, and it was great seeing Dunst and Dinklage on the big screen again. If you think the story sounds wild, then wait until you read up on the actual events it is based on. Recommended.

Op 't einde deden 'Estupendo' en 'Melvin' de hele zaal meedaveren. Onverwoestbaar die band. Dat ze nog paar decennia verder doen.

Uit het blote hoofd moet ik meteen denken aan de dood van Julianus. Toen was het eerder een soortement conclaaf van officieren en veldheren die het keizerschap aanbood aan de Praetoriaanse Prefect Salutius. Die weigerde echter op basis van zijn ouderdom en gezondheid.

De jongste telg van @ertsberg.bsky.social heeft er een (kritische?) fan bij.
